I think good idea is to add to the game player's/clan houses.
In many MMORPGs there are houses.Clan or player which builds their houses could receive some time period bonuses or even make some kind of "pass" system. Depending on which house lvl is there are some rewards for clan/player.
There are many ways to do so.
