Dear Rise Online World Players,

With the advancement of graphic technologies, gaming has become smoother, more visually impressive, and enjoyable.
This guide has been prepared to help you maximize both visual quality and performance in your gaming experience.
From in-game graphics settings to NVIDIA and AMD technologies, we’ve compiled everything you need for the smoothest and most enjoyable gameplay possible.

Basic Settings and Recommendations
First, add the game to your GPU control panel.
Then, set Power Management Mode to “Prefer Maximum Performance” and Texture Filtering Quality to “High Performance”.
For a detailed setup guide, CLICK HERE.

Resolution and Refresh Rate

  • Play at the maximum supported resolution of your monitor.
  • Setting unsupported refresh rates may cause display errors or distortions.

  • You can check this via Windows > System > Display > Advanced display settings and set your refresh rate to the maximum supported value (e.g. 144Hz, 240Hz).

    Supported Resolution:
Using your monitor’s native resolution ensures the sharpest and most accurate image quality. For example, on a 1080p monitor, playing at lower resolutions may result in blurry visuals.

    Refresh Rate:
Avoid selecting refresh rates your monitor doesn’t support. For instance, setting 120Hz on a 60Hz monitor may lead to screen flickering or “no signal” errors.
If your monitor supports G-Sync or FreeSync, enabling them can help dynamically adjust refresh rates for smoother performance.

    In-Game
    GRAPHIC SETTINGS:
By choosing High or Medium settings instead of Ultra, you can achieve significant performance improvements.
If you are using an older generation graphics card, Low settings will be the best option.

Post Processing: Enhances the game’s visual quality, creating a more realistic atmosphere and allowing you to customize the visuals based on personal preference. (Slightly darkens the screen edges.)

Texture Quality: Determines how detailed the surfaces of in-game objects appear. Higher texture quality provides a more realistic and detailed look but may reduce performance. Lower settings make textures simpler and slightly blurry, improving performance.
Shadow Quality: Controls the quality of shadows cast by objects. Higher shadow quality creates a more realistic lighting effect but can affect performance. Lower settings make shadows simpler and increase FPS.
Anti-Aliasing: Reduces jagged edges on objects, creating a smoother image. On lower settings, this effect is reduced and object edges appear sharper.

Foliage Density: Determines the amount of vegetation in the environment. Higher foliage density creates a more natural and lively atmosphere but can decrease performance. Lower settings reduce vegetation and improve FPS.

Effect Quality: Determines the quality of special effects used by all jobs (such as Flame Meteor, SunBlast, Healing Circle, etc.) and water effects. Higher effect quality makes them more impressive and realistic but can lower performance. Lower settings make effects simpler and less detailed.

NOTE: If your GPU has high VRAM capacity, FPS drops are unlikely at high graphics settings. For better performance, it is recommended to keep these options lower.

    DirectX 12 Mode

If your GPU supports it, select DirectX 12 from the game client.
(Required for NVIDIA Frame Generation, available only on RTX 40 series GPUs.

NVIDIA & AMD Technologies

With the transition to Unreal Engine 5, several new NVIDIA technologies have been integrated into the game.

  • NVIDIA DLSS: Ideal for RTX 20 series and above. Boosts FPS while maintaining image quality.
  • NVIDIA Image Scaling (NIS): Equivalent to AMD FSR, available for GPUs without DLSS support.

NVIDIA Frame Generation

  • Supported only on RTX 40 series GPUs.
  • Requires DirectX 12 mode.
  • Increases FPS and overall smoothness.
  • Works best when NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency is also enabled.
If you can’t enable Frame Generation despite having an RTX 40 GPU, turn on Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling in Windows settings and restart your PC.

NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency

  • Reduces system latency for faster response times.
  • Works best when used with Frame Generation.
  • Ensures smoother and more responsive gameplay, even if FPS doesn’t increase significantly.

In-Game Settings Recommended Settings by GPU Series

RTX 40 Series

1760447301108.png

  • DLSS SR: Ultra Performance
  • Frame Generation: Enabled
  • CPU Power: 100% (PK)
  • FPS Booster: Enabled
If Ultra Performance affects visual quality too much, switch to Performance mode.

RTX 30 Series

  • DLSS SR: Ultra Performance
  • NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: Enabled
  • FPS Limit: Match your monitor’s refresh rate
  • CPU Power: 100% (PK)

    AMD GPUs & Non-RTX GPUs

  • NVIDIA Image Scaling (NIS): Ultra Performance (or Performance for higher visual quality)
  • Anti-Aliasing Method: FXAA
  • CPU Power: 100% (PK)
  • FPS Booster: Enabled
Note: NVIDIA Image Scaling (NIS) is equivalent to AMD FSR 3 and works across many GPU models.
For AMD users, make sure to apply the recommended performance settings in your driver control panel for optimal results.

We hope this guide helps you get the most out of your gameplay experience in Rise Online World.
