Rise Online Launcher stuck on Waiting for file check request.

UPDATE: I reinstalled the game and it is working fine now. I wasn't able to find a file check option in the launcher. Might be good to have it in for situations like this.

As the title says, Rise Online launcher is stuck on Waiting for file check request:

I have tried restarting the Launcher and the PC but no change. I ran the game as Administrator and it is still stuck at the same step.

Any advice on how to sort this one out?
