On Death Valley single target spells have a way too long to casting range and distance how far the target can be shot after he gets off range. You lock the target and spam spells till you can't see it, or target is dead. Good that dmg on AOE seems fine for me, can be healed. So limit range to receive dmg. Damage over time like burning effect is fine to have it expires or cured.
It also mages the way too tank, on these levels. Usual they cant tank that much as tormeted.
Same is with heals and debuffs. When you heal someone and even it descents or gets teleported, heal will reach target, even it is out of casting range.
On archers I haven't notice that because no issues so far on that. The Archers need some buffs to counter mages anyways in the game and there is this Shield spell from priests, which could be good to use against them.
Knight Online had the same issue and it is fixed there. If character leaves the range of spell, it won't reach spell, before it could die in town still mages single target. It was with arrows, like power shot there was a high dmg dealer, which followed you till you get hide or out of vision. Arrow they changed, that shot stops travel after player is off the range.
Good time to fix it before, mages gets too far ahead of battle points and people are done with leveling. Then game starts, Pk and boss farm in death valley.

The game should also have some option to make recognize enemies and allies. Far you can see which nation, because drawing distance. You can see orcs green and humans as human. Close combat with skins and such hard to recognize enemies example, because it always won even names.
