If you're getting this error, please follow these steps;
1. Add RiseOnline Launcher to the Windows Firewall: You can access the guide for adding it to the firewall ► [HERE]. If you have an antivirus program, please disable it.
2. Right-click on Rise Online Launcher > Properties > Compatibility > Check the box for "Run this program as an administrator." Click Apply and then OK to exit.
3. Ensure a wired (ethernet) connection and make sure you are not using a VPN.
4. Change your DNS settings. (Recommended DNS addresses: Google: 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4). Then, open CMD as an administrator and enter the following commands in sequence:
ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew.
5. Change your default browser and ensure the new browser is up-to-date.
6. Open CMD as an administrator and enter the command: sfc /scannow.
7. After completing all these steps, open the Launcher as an administrator, click the File Check button, and reinstall the application.
8. Open the file location of the Rise Launcher and delete the files with the ".xml" extension. After completing these stps, open the Rise Launcher as an administrator and click on "File Check".
